Analogue to Frequency Converters
For converting a mA, mV
or V input
to a frequency / pulse output
Analogue to frequency converters convert an analogue process signal input (voltage or current) into a frequency output.
The output pulse rate is proportional to the magnitude of the analogue input signal.
Applications include providing an analogue input capability for PLC digital inputs, integration of process 'rate' measurements (e.g.flow, B.T.U., Watts) and proportional sampling, etc.
