SELECTION GUIDE: Tracker 300 Plus Series
The Tracker 300 Plus series are low cost, universal input, DIN Rail mounted modules, providing multifunctional PID Controller, signal conditioner, and trip amplifier functions with RS485 serial communications.
The two-wire communications link greatly reduces wiring costs and simplifies installation by allowing distribution to a single channel. The RS 485 interface caters for connecting up to 32 devices in a multidrop configuration and permits wiring runs of up to 1.2 km,
Protocols supported are Modbus RTU, Modbus ASCII and DTPI (ASCII). MODBUS RTU allows easy integration with industry standard software products, e.g. SCADA.
Ideally suited for applications that require signal conditioning and remote/distributed data acquisition, these modules may also be used as stand alone signal conditioners / signal converters / trip amplifiers.
The Tracker 300 Plus series can be configured using the Windows™ based PC software and connection via the RS485 interface or by using a standard Mini USB connection which powers the unit during configuration. The configuration and calibration setup data may be stored on file and recalled for future use.
