Power supplies
General purpose power supplies for loop-powered transmitters, DC powered signal conditioners and other instrumentation
The SIL range of power units include:
- General purpose instrumentation power supplies for powering two-wire transmitters operating on 4-20mA signals or powering 24V signal conditioning modules
- Battery back-up power supplies for providing a maintained dc supply in the event of a mains supply failure. Applications include supplies for loop powered transmitters, telemetry outstations, etc.
- Rising output type for loads to be driven in series with large resistances such as transmission lines or through zener barriers.

Rising Output
Characteristic - The output voltage rises with the load
current, enabling loads to be driven in series with large resistances. Types
available: 24V @ 4mA rising to 32V @ 20mA and 36V @ 4mA rising to 48V @ 20mA.
