Maths functions

This range of instruments covers the following mathematical functions:

• Add, subtract or average analogue signals
• Add /subtract pulse type signals
• Multiply two analogue signals
• Extract a square root from a process signal (e.g. from a DP transmitter)
• Apply a 3/2 law (e.g. to calculate flowrate from a rectangular weir level measurement)
• Apply a 5/2 law (e.g. to calculate flowrate from a 'V' Notch weir level measurement)

Select from: <Analogue types> <Digital (pulse signal) types>

PLEASE NOTE other outputs and inputs (with the exception of digital types)
within the following ranges can be provided.

INPUTS: Current from 0-1mA to 0-30mA, Voltage from 0-1V to 0-250V,
Bidirectional voltage signals (e.g. ± 5 V)
OUTPUTS: Currents from 0-1mA to 0-30mA, Voltage from 0-1V to 0-10V
Bidirectional voltage signals (e.g. ± 5 V) or reverse acting current and
voltage signals (e.g. 4-20mA to 20-4mA) are possible.
Current sink output is available on most types.
CURRENT LOOP INTEGRITY FEATURE:
current input loop inputs are maintained when the module is unplugged
